Your knees don't cave from weak glutes

You’ve seen it in the mirror mid-squat.

The bar sinks, and one knee sneaks in toward the other.

Someone told you the fix years ago. Weak glutes. So it’s been clamshells, band walks, and glute activation before every session.

Months of that, and the knee still dives.

The part nobody explained: when you squat, your knee doesn’t just bend.

It rotates.

Your shin has to turn a little as you sink toward the bottom.

When it can’t, your body still finds the depth you asked for.

Caving in is the workaround.

So before the tenth round of glute work, try giving the rotation back.

The half kneeling shin rotation, watch it here.

A few slow reps per side, before you squat.

Give the joint its options back, then watch what your knee does on the next squat.
