Private 1:1 Coaching · Rebuild™

Train heavy again.
Without pain.

For serious lifters dealing with chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, or a long plateau the standard rehab cycle isn't fixing. We rebuild the system underneath the pain so it actually holds. Most are back to confident heavy training in 12 to 20 weeks.

The cycle you're in

PT, chiro, dry needling, decompression, massage. You're back to where you started.

You've got a folder of old exercises. A list of stretches that worked for a week. Maybe an MRI report. And no plan for what to do next.

Each provider sent you home with something. Stretches. A band. "See you next week." It helped for a while. The pain came back. They told you to rest more, lift lighter, modify. You did all of it.

You're not skeptical of rehab. You're skeptical that anyone has a system.

  • You're modifying every set, second-guessing every rep.
  • The pain is gone for a week, then back the second life intensifies.
  • You've been "cleared" but you don't trust your body under load.
  • You've stopped doing the lift that used to define your training.
  • And there's a version of you in old photos you can't seem to get back to.
Why nothing has held

There's a reason it keeps coming back.

Where it hurts is rarely why it hurts.

Most rehab treats joints in isolation. Your knee hurts, they treat the knee. Your shoulder hurts, they treat the shoulder. But the painful spot is where the cost is showing up. It's not where the problem started.

Pain shows up when capacity stops matching demand.

Your body kept solving the lift the only way it had left. Something else paid the bill. Stretching the symptom is treating the cost, not the cause. That's why nothing has held.

The Rebuild Approach™

Three phases. One roadmap back to load.

Reveal → Reset → Rebuild. Each phase has its own mechanism. Each one builds the foundation for the next. You always know what phase you're in and what gets you to the next.

Phase 1 · Reveal

Ground-Up Assessment™

Find the real driver of pain

Before we touch the painful spot, we read the whole story. The foot, the hip rotation, where you sit in space, the training history. The painful spot is the last page. We read the first pages first.

You finally understand why your pain hasn't gone away. Confusion becomes clarity.
Phase 2 · Reset

Movement Restoration™

Restore movement freedom

We don't stretch everything. We fix what's limiting you. Multiple ways to solve force. Pressure distribution across the system. Your body gets options again. You don't layer strength onto a closed system.

Movement feels smoother. Pain drops. Trust in your body starts to return.
Phase 3 · Rebuild

Capacity Layering™

Return to heavy training, without hesitation

Load back on top of a foundation that's actually ready for it. Four parts work together. Skipping one is why most rehab stops short.

Progressive loading

The bar moves up because your body can hold it, not because the calendar says it's week 6.

Force tolerance

Heavy weight, slow eccentrics, and full intensity brought back in an order your body can absorb without a flare-up.

Movement adaptability

Your new movement quality holds up when the bar gets heavy. You don't fall back into the old compensation under load.

Load Trust

Fear under the bar is treated like every other symptom. With a protocol, rep by rep, not with a pep talk.

Back to squatting, deadlifting, pressing. No second-guessing every rep.

PT discharged you. That wasn't the finish line. Pain-free doesn't mean you're ready for load.

Method in action

Amy. 4 months out of the gym. Back under the bar.

The same three phases, walked through on Amy's case. So you can see what Reveal, Reset, and Rebuild actually look like in real life.

Amy assessment before Amy assessment after Amy training again

When Amy came in, she couldn't walk her dogs without her back seizing up. Multiple providers, four months out of the gym, and no further ahead.

Reveal · what the assessment showed

The pain wasn't random. It was a pattern.

The photos told the story. Shoulder dropping. Knee falling in. Whole body shifted to the right. Her left side had been working overtime for years to keep her upright. That low-level tension was there before she ever touched a barbell. We mapped the foot, the hip rotation, where she sat in space, the training history. By the end of week 1, she had her roadmap.

Reset · what we rebuilt

Less guarding. Options back.

Single-side work, alternating patterns, rotational work. Hip rotation, pelvic movement, pressure distribution back online. The right side stopped carrying everything. Once she stopped guarding against movement, things moved fast. Less hesitation. She could bend forward comfortably again.

Rebuild · what came back

"I'm back."

Capacity Layering™ to rebuild her tolerance to two-sided lifting. Load, volume, and intensity layered back in. She sent me a video doing kettlebell swings. Walking the dogs again. Training heavy again. In her words: "I'm back."

Who built this

8 years of back pain. 3 years where I couldn't deadlift. Now I deadlift close to 500.

I'm Gabe. Kinesiologist. I built this because I lived it.

8 years of back pain. Then drop foot during a kinesiology class. I couldn't deadlift for 3 years. PT. Stretches. The cycle. Nothing held.

I found a mentor with the right system. Not stretches. Not symptom-chasing. A way of reading what the body was actually doing under load, restoring movement, and rebuilding capacity from the ground up.

Now I deadlift close to 500lbs. No bracing for the next flare-up. And I teach the same system to lifters who've been told to stop training.

Gabe.
What's included

Built around your body. Adjusted every week.

No template. No PDF. No "hope this works." A full system with direct access to me, updated based on how your body actually responds.

Custom programming

A program built around your body, not a template.

Delivered through a training app. Updated weekly based on how your body responds. You always know what to train, how much to load, when to push, when to adjust. No random rehab circuits.

Direct access

You message me, not a bot.

Form reviews on video. Load adjustments when something feels off. Strategy calls when you need them. Ongoing feedback between sessions. You're never left figuring it out alone.

Ground-Up Assessment™

The full diagnostic in your first 30 days.

A real assessment of how your body manages movement and load from the ground up. By day 30 you know what's driving the pain. You have a roadmap. You know what moves you into the next phase.

Train through it

You don't stop lifting.

No 6 to 8 weeks of rest. No foam roll for an hour a day. No avoiding squats and deadlifts forever. The work happens inside training, with variations you can own at your current capacity.

Load Trust

Fear is the last symptom rehab forgets to treat.

Hesitation before the working set. Bracing on the first rep back. Scanning the body between sets. We treat it like every other symptom, with a protocol, not a pep talk. Built rep by rep through structured exposure that gives your body evidence the next rep is safe.

A real timeline

A finish line, not an endless loop.

Most lifters move through Reveal, Reset, and Rebuild in 3 to 5 months. After your first 30 days you'll have your specific timeline. No surprises. No "see you next week" forever.

Honest filter

This isn't for you if:

  • You've never trained heavy and want to start now.
  • Training isn't a real part of who you are. You lift occasionally, or you've never been someone who built a week around the gym.
  • You're looking for weight loss, general fitness, or "feel better" coaching.
  • You want passive rehab where someone hands you a list of stretches and discharges you.
  • You want a quick fix, a magic exercise, or a 7-day reset.
If none of those describe you, and you're a lifter dealing with pain, post-op recovery, or a plateau that's stopping you from training the way you want, this is built for you.
Common questions

What lifters ask before booking.

I've already tried PT, chiro, and mobility work. How is this different?

Most rehab treats the spot where it hurts. The Rebuild Approach™ starts with a Ground-Up Assessment™ that maps how your body actually manages load, then rebuilds the system underneath the pain. You don't get a list of stretches and a "see you next week." You get a phased plan with success markers and a real roadmap back to heavy training. The cases on /wins are all people who'd tried multiple providers before this.

Do I need to stop training while we work on this?

No. You train through it, not around it. We use the lifts and variations your body can own right now, and progress them as capacity catches up. Most clients lift through the entire 12 to 20 weeks. Stopping training is not part of the plan.

Will this work for my specific injury?

If you've been dealing with chronic pain, post-op recovery, or a long plateau and have cycled through other providers, the system has been built for you. We've worked with chronic back pain, post-surgical recovery, sciatica, knee, shoulder, ankle. The case studies on /wins cover the most common situations. If your case is unusual, we say so on the call.

How long does it take?

Most lifters return to confident heavy training in 12 to 20 weeks. The first 30 days is the Reveal phase. By the end of it you'll have a specific timeline based on what your body actually needs. No vague "be patient" answer.

Can you really coach this online?

Yes. Video review of working sets, posture, single-leg stance, and movement screens. The training app updates weekly based on what you send me. In-person coaching has the edge on hands-on cueing. Online coaching has the edge on async feedback, no commute either way, and more touch points across a week. Most clients prefer it once they're in it.

What if it's not the right fit after the call?

Then we don't move forward. The call is free. No payment until we've both said yes. I'd rather tell you straight than waste either of our time.

What does it cost?

Coaching runs in the high-three-figures monthly range. We talk specifics on the call once we know it's a fit. Most lifters complete the process in 3 to 5 months. If it's not the right time, we say so.

One last thing

You deserve to train hard without limitations or fear.

If you've spent months or years cycling through providers and exercises that don't hold, the next step is a real assessment and a real roadmap. Not another set of stretches.
