We were just on this beach with him

This year's been crazy.

I get so caught up building the business and wearing every hat that I don't always stop and look.

A couple of weeks ago we went away for my cousin's wedding.

At some point it was just us on this beach with my son Nico.

For once I wasn't wearing any of the hats.

Almost every day this year I've told myself the same thing: be a present father.

Some days I nail it. Some days I don't.

It's the same thing I tell every person I work with: you won't nail every session either. Notice when you've drifted, and get one good one in.

This was one of the good ones.
